Professional Experience

Ms. Berus is a Partner in the firm BARTH BERUS & CALDERON, LLP.

Her practice is primarily devoted to business law and art law, which is personal property law, tax law, valuation law, and real estate law, and the application of these areas in the planning and management of collections as well as individual artworks and collectibles, and estate planning related to artworks, antiques and collectibles.

Ms. Berus assists collectors, investors, dealers, museums, and artists in acquisitions, sales, consignments, valuations, loans, copyright matters, license agreements, charitable donations, charitable trusts and estate planning regarding art, antiques, historical property, and other collections.

 Her clients include business owners, collectors, historical property owners, artists, appraisers, gallery owners, museums and non-profit organizations.

 Ms Berus is admitted to practice law in California and the United States District Court, Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of California.
